Sustained Release Technology

D-Stock benefits from Sustained Release Technology, an association of triple emulsion and nanocapsules, which has been developed for progressive diffusion of the active ingredients throughout the day.

  • Triple emulsion (W/O/W) is a complex system associating water droplets contained in an oil phase, this being dispersed again in a gel aqueous phase.
This emulsion acts like a reservoir allowing gradual release of the active ingredients.

  • Nanocapsules are small vesicles made up of an oil core, a polymeric shell in polycaprolactone and a lamellar bilayer. The lamellar phase allows improved vectorisation of active ingredients in the outer epidermis and an improved reservoir effect.

In D-Stock, the nanocapsules are at the core of the triple emulsion (aqueous core) and contain Diglucosyne, a new Glucose captor.
